Certified copies that will be authenticated with an apostille or embassy legalization for international use.

Vital records (birth, death, marriage certificates), court-sealed documents, and other publicly recorded records must come from the agency that issued them — a notary cannot certify copies of these. Before your appointment, confirm the receiving party will accept a notary-certified copy.
